Student Support Services

Student Support Services is designed to increase the academic performance, retention rates and graduation rates of 160 program participants. The U.S. Department of Education-funded program offers academic advising, career/major counseling, personal support, classroom instruction, academic support programs, computer training, financial aid counseling and social/cultural activities.

Rio Grand College Student Services provides students with the tools and resources they need to achieve academic success and to remove all obstacles to learning, including advising, tutoring and workshops.

Tutoring and Learning Center

The campus-wide Tutoring and Learning Center houses peer tutors, the Peer Mentoring Program, the Sul Ross Writing Center and other departmental tutors. The TLC is located on the first floor of the Bryan Wildenthal Memorial Library.  TLC hours of operation follows regular Library hours. Phone - 432 837 8556  / email - tutoring@sulross.edu

Graduate Student Center

The mission of the Graduate Student Center at Sul Ross State University is to increase access to post-baccalaureate programs and to foster graduate student success by developing and providing pro-active support services in a centralized location.
